The Kamloops Art Gallery is the principal Gallery for the visual arts in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. The Kamloops Art Gallery is committed to art as an essential part of the human experience and therefore exhibits, collects, documents, preserves, encourages, and interprets regional, national, and international art in all media.
The Kamloops Art Gallery mandate stipulates two broad objectives: a commitment to art (artists, art works and discussion about art) and a responsibility to foster enjoyment and interest in the visual arts. Committed to art as a forum of expression and an essential aspect of experience, the Kamloops Art Gallery aims to develop the collections and a challenging program of exhibitions, publications and interpretation that meshes with international developments in contemporary art. The program also addresses historical activities that support the contemporary focus. Regional relevance is the key to the Kamloops Art Gallery program, and art which reflects the history, character and diverse culture of the region are emphasized.

Thursday: 10 am to 9 pm
Sunday: Noon to 4 pm
